Our Optimization Process
Four stages, agreed in writing before work starts. Each one ends with something you can check: a report, a ranked plan, a set of released changes, and a comparison against where the site started.
- 1
Audit
We read your field data, run lab tests on key templates and review the code that loads on them.
- 2
Diagnose
We explain what holds each page back and turn it into a ranked list of fixes with rough effort.
- 3
Optimize
We make the agreed changes on a staging copy first, then release them in small, reversible steps.
- 4
Measure
We retest, compare against the starting point and keep watching field data as it updates.

Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWhat is website speed optimization?
It is the work of finding what makes pages slow to appear, slow to respond or jumpy while loading, then fixing those causes. Most of it involves images, scripts, fonts, caching and server response time.
How does website speed affect search?
Google says its core ranking systems look to reward pages with a good page experience, and that Core Web Vitals are used by its ranking systems. It also says relevance comes first, so speed work supports search visibility without guaranteeing rankings. Our speed and SEO guide quotes the exact wording.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Three measurements Google uses to describe real-world experience: Largest Contentful Paint for loading, Interaction to Next Paint for responsiveness, and Cumulative Layout Shift for visual stability. The Core Web Vitals guide covers each threshold.
How long does a speed project take?
We plan for one to two weeks for an audit and three to six weeks for an audit plus fixes on a typical small business site. Field data then needs about four weeks to reflect the changes.
